Pictures from ERPS April 1999 Ranch Trip

These pictures are from the April 18, 1999 trip to the "Rocket Ranch". Among many things that needed to be done, we fixed the plumbing for the fire-suppression system, tested the Peroxide sparging system, and put forms on the rebar for the new block house.

Unless otherwise noted, photos are by Ian Kluft.

[picture] After we returned from checking the tank and closing the upper valve, we found that Randall, Gene and Brian have made a lot of progress on digging out the blown lower valve. (Picture shows Brian digging and Randall removing shrubs.)
[picture] The lower valve is uncovered.
[picture] Gene is digging along the pipe to expose enough of it for the repair.

[picture] Everyone's talking about what they're going to do next - put more forms around the rebar for the "block house". This is at the observation area overlooking the test stand. (Brian, Chuck and Randall are shown in the picture.)
